I’m Nikita — an Information Systems student focused on Machine Learning, MedTech, and shipping things that actually improve people's lives.
A quick overview of who I am and what I care about.
I’m an Information Systems student with a strong passion for building machine learning systems that make a real difference. My currentwork sits at the intersection of AI and digital health, with a strong focus on preventive and personalized medicine.
I study at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and spent a year at ETH Zurich completing coursework and conducting digital health research. My bachelor’s thesis explored multimodal sensor fusion for wearable human activity recognition, combining large-scale data fusion pipelines with state-of-the-art deep learning to better understand human behavior from real-world data.
Alongside my studies, I enjoy building products end to end. At sixteen, I founded MyDoorbell, an Alexa-based smart home service that grew from a personal side project into a product used by over 15,000 people worldwide. This experience shaped how I think about technology: identify real problems, build fast, and iterate until it delivers value.
I am deeply interested in responsible and impactful AI. I co-founded the TUM Social AI student club, developing pro bono AI solutions for NGOs, and I am an active member of OneAIM, Europe's biggest student initiative focused on healthcare innovation.
When I’m not coding, I’m usually training (calisthenics/gym), bouldering, or in the water — and I’m a certified DLRG lifeguard.
Strong academic record with a focus on data, machine learning, and digital health.
Built and grew a real product end-to-end: from idea to 15,000+ users and over €8,000 ARR.
My mission is to build impactful products that make a real difference in people's lives.
